Vegas baby is a book designed to take the reader past the glamorous facade of Las Vegas to explore the deeper darker side to the sin city. The purpose of the cover is to draw readers in with the shining lights of Vegas, but beyond this each chapter explores a different issue through the use of articles, book quotes, photography, and illustrations. The subtle chaotic composition of the pages, layering of illustrations and typography, and varying point size of text give an uncomfortable feel to the book to coincide with the message being communicated.

Vegas Baby was named winner of the Student Category at the British Book Design & Production Awards in 2019, with the judges commenting on the “huge level of maturity and professionalism” and the “outstanding innovative style and illustrations”.
